Frederiksted Health Care, Inc., concludes National Health Center Week by hosting a Community Town Hall on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, at the University of the Virgin Islands Great Hall.

We express our sincerest appreciation to our speaker, Dr. Selwyn Rogers, a native son of St. Croix who currently serves as Chief of Trauma Surgery and Director of the Trauma Center in Chicago. In the course of his career, Dr. Rogers has witnessed firsthand the devastating toll that violence takes on individuals and families.

In recent weeks, our Virgin Islands have been plagued by a high volume of violence in our community. We stand firmly with our residents during this challenging time and remain dedicated to fostering a safe, healthy environment. Addressing this crisis requires open dialogue, mutual support, and actionable solutions from all sectors of our society.

We thank all those who came out to support the town hall. To those who participated, we say thank you. Your comments, suggestions, and ideas were greatly appreciated.
